SalesForce, Maximizer, SAS, SAP, Treesoft, IBM, Sage, crm, accounting, quotation, microsoft crm, accounting software, crm software The most common issue certain users may face when installing CQWorx is that they don't have sufficient operating system (Windows) permissions that will enable them to install software. If this is the case, you may receive installation errors while running the setup process. The solution to this is to log in to Windows using a user name that belongs to a group of users that belong to the Administrators group. If you don't know how to do this, please refer to your Windows Help documentation, or approach your corporate IT department. In a corporate environment, IT Support often disables Administrative access to computers, but they will be able to temporarily log on as an administrative user which will allow you to install the software. CQWorx is installed to your Application files folder. On most Windows systems, this is generally located in the c:\Documents and Settings folder, followed by your name. For example, if your Windows user name is "John", your Applications folder could be: C:\Documents and Settings\john\Application Data CQWorx is installed in the relogix\cqw subfolder of the above application folder. In our example, it would be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\john\Application Data\relogix\cqw The databases are installed to the db subfolder, for example: C:\Documents and Settings\john\Application Data\relogix\cqw\db CQWorx requires full read/write access to the abovementioned folders. Once again, please contact your IT department or consult your Windows documentation if you are not sure that read/write access is allowed. To send bulk emails to your customers, CQWorx requires access to the Internet and to an SMTP mail server. When you first install CQWorx, it is configured to use CQWorx's SMTP server (see screen shot below). You can change this by clicking on the File->Options menu and to change your configuration to reflect your SMTP server's parameters. You Internet Service Provider (ISP) will usually supply these to you and you will use the same parameters to configure for example your Microsoft Outlook mail software. Some firewall software will block SMTP access (Port 25). If you receive an error while CQWorx trying to send an email, please check that your firewall does allow STMP traffic.
