Customers are the people or organizations with whom your company does its
business. Both private individuals and companies are called customers in
CQWorx. If you deal directly with private individuals, that individual is
the customer. If you are dealing with an organization, you should capture
the organization or company's name as the name of the customer, and
employees or members of that organization as the contact persons on the
third tab of the Customers editing form. Customers form the basis of much of what CQWorx does. You have to first capture a customer, for example, before you can create quotations, contact events or inquiries, because all the above relate to a customer. CQWorx allows you to automatically send documents via email. To do so, it uses the address details for the customer. You should always capture complete address information for each customer. Many companies sometimes deal with anonymous or cash customers. These are customers whose name and other details you don't have. To cater for this, CQWorx has a pre-created customer called Anonymous/Cash customer. You cannot delete this customer. All anonymous customer interactions should be captured against this user.
