CQWorx presents you with a main window and a collection of child windows. These child windows contain respectively: Customers, Your organization, Billable and Inquiry processes. Each window has a collection of tabs, which contains different data pertaining to different data types. In the example screen shot below, there are "Customers", "Contact events", "Quotations", "Orders" and "Invoices" tabs.

SalesForce, Maximizer, SAS, SAP, Treesoft, IBM, Sage, crm, accounting, quotation, microsoft crm, accounting software, crm software

You can click on one of the large icons at the top of the main window (the man with the book as an example) in order to open these windows. More than one window can be open.

Customers - Customers, the contacts you've had with customers, quotations, invoices and orders. Please note that the Customers window differs from the other windows. In the Customers window, the other tabs reflect for example the invoices belonging to a particular customer.

Inquiry processes - Think of this as a "to-do" list, a list of tasks you have to perform, as well as containing a list of current quotations, orders and invoices that require actions from you.

Billable items - the products, components and services your company sells.

Organization - information about your company, such as your name and address.

The only windows which are visible when you load CQWorx the first time, are the Customers and Inquiry Process windows. You can have more than one child window open at any time and switch between them by clicking somewhere on the window's area or title bar.

Each of the abovementioned child windows contains a number of tabs. Each tab contains one type of data. In the customers window, for example there are tabs for customers, contact events, quotations, orders and invoices. In each tab is a browser. A browser is simply a list of current items in your database. In the image below, there is only one customer visible in the browser. At the top of the browser window is a toolbar that contains buttons. These buttons allow you to add new records (customers, for example), edit existing records, and to delete a record.

You will typically be presented with a new form or window when clicking on the Add or Edit buttons, in which you can capture details about the new or existing record.

You can also sort your data by clicking on the "Order by" dropdown list in the toolbar. If you have many records in your database, you can type text in the "look for" text area in the toolbar, and CQWorx will look for a record in the Order by column that starts with the text you've typed.

In the Customers child window on the customers tab, there is a Customer type dropdown list. This allows you to filter the current list of customers by means of the customer type.

Certain editing forms in CQWorx have child records. For example, a quotation can have more than one component contained in the quotation. If this is the case, a window containing the parent data and the child data (components in our example) will be displayed. You can use the buttons at the bottom of the window in order to add, edit and delete child records. Please see screen example below.
